WOONSOCKET, RI — Two Rhode Island brothers were arrested in connection with a shooting in Worcester, Massachusetts in June. Rhode Island State Police arrested Kenneth Diaz, 22, and Jose Diaz, 19, both of Second Avenue in Woonsocket, on Tuesday night after they were listed as fugitives by Massachusetts police.
The Diaz brothers are accused of shooting a person with the intent to kill them outside of a barber shop on Lincoln Street in Worchester on June 21. The victim’s name, identity and condition were not released by police.
Members of the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Woonsocket Police Department arrested the brothers on Tuesday night. Bother were arraigned in Sixth District Court on Wednesday as fugitives from justice on several charges before being turned over the Worcester Police. The charges are listed below
